The Computer Club introduces our residents to the technology of today. Using state of the art programs like Microsoft Publisher 2000 and Microsoft Word, members of the Club help staff create the Center's newsletter, activities calendars and various announcements and cards.
With the assistance of an activities leader, the Club also uses a variety of educational and entertaining software programs. Artistic and musical programs provide new and stimulating experiences for residents. Many residents with dementia, for example, respond especially well to the vivid colors and endless design opportunities in the painting programs. Similarly, the musical programs allow for an interactive musical experience with various instruments and sounds.
