Very few nursing homes have special programs designed just for people with Alzheimer's disease.  At Gwynedd Square Nursing Center we have a comprehensive multi-disciplinary program just for Alzheimer's residents.  We have a separate daily activities program and awareness and motivation groups designed just for Alzheimer's residents to encourage self-esteem, dignity and independence.  Our special Alzheimer's dining programs are geared specifically toward ensuring total nutrition and the prevention of weight loss at each stage of the disease.

Unlike some facilities that segregate Alzheimer's residents into separate locked units, our single story circular design surrounding landscaped gardens allows them to walk freely, without restriction, in a safe, secure environment.
